At the time of his death in 1947 Rufus Stimson, retired state supervisor of agricultural education in Massachusetts was compiling a list of the early pioneers and individuals who had influenced the development of agricultural education broadly defined. This listing was to be published in a book titled “Agricultural Career Education Readings.” The book was never published. Gary Moore spent years tracking down the unpublished manuscript. These individuals are the ones who were to be featured in the book.
